“Build Back Better” Town Hall with Rep. Malinowski
Right now, Congress is working on the Build Back Better Act, which could become the most significant federal action to combat climate change EVER. This could mean millions of good-paying green jobs, a pathway to 100% clean energy for the whole country by 2035, and a commitment to invest billions of dollars in Black, Brown, and low-income communities that have been hardest hit by the climate crisis. Right now, sustainable business leaders like us must speak directly with our representatives in Congress to make sure they keep up the fight for this critical piece of legislation.
Wednesday, September 8th, at 7 PM, NJSBC is co-sponsoring a Virtual Town Hall on Zoom with Representative Tom Malinowski of the Seventh Congressional District and NJLCV. In discussion with NJSBC, sustainable business leaders like you, and our partners, the Congressman will talk about the Build Back Better Act, how it will bring jobs to the district, how it will put the country on a pathway to clean energy, and how it will address environmental justice.
NJSBC and Congressman Malinowski want to hear from you! How has the climate crisis impacted your business or changed your company’s risk profile? How could your business benefit from green infrastructure investments or incentives? Why do you personally care about environmental justice? RSVP by clicking here now, and you can submit a question for the congressman.
